My name is Carynn and I’m a melanoma survivor. I organized “Moonlight Miles for Melanoma – Walk of Hope” which was held in May 2011. As a fundraiser for my event I sold Seeds of Happiness. What better way to spread hope than with a smile! In just a couple weeks I had sold almost 300 seeds! Everybody bought multiple seeds to keep, or to share, mainly because they were so cute when you get a bunch of them together! They make you smile even bigger! I sell them with a warning that they are addictive! There is a big group of “seedaholics” out there that tell me almost daily how happy their seeds make them! Needless to say, I am hooked and love to share the seeds and the story behind them! The Smile Factory and employees are fantastic people to work with! I feel very blessed to have met them and been able to have Seeds of Happiness as part of my Walk of Hope!

It’s an honor when a favorite character inspires someone to get it inked on them permanently. Here’s a small sample of the Seeds of Happiness tattoos that have been shared with us over the years. Do you have a SMILE tattooed on you? We’d love to see it!

Hello!
I just wanted to take a moment to tell you about the orange smile 🧡 that I received 11 years ago. My incredible son passed away 3.3.2013 at 24 years old. He was such a delight and loved by so many. He was born 12 weeks early and struggled in the hospital for his first 3 years.

In 2006 Seeds of Happiness started out as leftover lumps of clay that Mark Borella made into little smiles to give to friends who were going through hard times and needed a little smile.
